Absolutely love this pack. I've taken it on a number of cold weather day hikes so far. [...] I switched from an osprey 22 liter pack, and I am not looking back. Favorite Features: Rear mesh pocket, this is accessible while your are wearing the pack. [...] Main body is a very conservative 25 liters, it holds snow pants, bivvy, tech shell, fleece, puffy, gaiters, splint , socks, nalgene, mittens, lunch and stove with room to spare. [...] Outside Map pocket has enough room for maps, compass, keys, mirror, headlamp, spare battery, and lip balm and med kit. No goofy hip pockets that don't open right (especially with gloves). Very light weight. All in all very impressed, so far.

Now that I've used this pack on several trips I feel I can render a proper review. First of all, the quality of the materials and sewing are top of the line. The expertise used in the sewing is some of the best that I've seen and my wife really likes the colors (mine is the slate gray and teal one). As far as size, I kind of think 25L is a small description. When I compare it to an 18L I have, it dwarfs it. [...] One of the biggest complaints I have about smaller pack sizes is a belt that is just for show. This one functions like those on larger packs, properly transferring weight to your hips without discomfort. [...] Overall, the craftsmanship, materials, and comfort of this pack are superb and, honestly, I have nothing bad to say about it.

The perfect pack. This bag is great for any size day hike. I’m super picky and way too specific in what I look for in a pack. With that said, this bag checks all the boxes. It literally feels like an extension of my body. I have never once felt encumbered by the pack shape or fit. The capacity is more than you should need but it can be a 4 season day bag with ease. I love it so much! It makes me happy every time I look at it. My kids tell me my bag has “drip”

This daypack is great. I received my CTUG day pack yesterday. The workmanship is excellent. It is light, well thought out and attractive. Looking at it, it seems bigger than 25 L, and I can’t wait to load it up to see how it carries. You will not find a better company then this with co-owners who get back to you very quickly, or are more anxious to please.
WHAT'S ON THE YOUR STRAPS?
Check out some of our shoulder strap accessories!

A removable hip belt that actually puts weight where it should be, off your shoulders and on your hips! For lighter loads, easily remove the belt.
Extra comfort! A removable sit pad makes any stops along the trail especially pleasant when you want to take a load off.
A front panel water resistant zipper pocket allows you to stay organized with your gear. Imagine not having to dig to the bottom of your pack to find your keys, wallet, or sunscreen!
Generous lycra pockets - one on each side panel and one on the front panel - allow you to add some serious volume to your pack, or slim down for smaller loads.
A roll-top closure creates a water-resistant seal with the option to over-pack the bag for bigger loads.
The V-Strap closure pulls weight closer to your body, allowing for a more comfortable carry. You can also strap more gear to the top of the pack with this strap.
S-shaped shoulder straps give you unrestrained movement and comfort around your shoulders and chest.
Daisy chain straps - they're compatible with any CTUG shoulder strap accessories so you can further customize your pack.
Shock cords let you compress your pack when carrying a smaller load. You can also use them to stow trekking poles or other gear on the outside of your pack.
An adjustable sternum strap lets you move it up and down along the shoulder straps to where it feels most comfortable.
