We use waterproof Xpac and water resistant zipper but we do not seal our seams. Therefore the bag is water resistant, NOT water proof.

Holds so much stuff!
This bag has been a game changer for me. I wear it everyday either across my back or at the waist. The inner pockets perfectly fit 16oz nalgenes. With one water bottle, I still have room for a ctug wallet, keys, a card wallet, hand sanitizer, a snack, pen, hankie, headlamp, a packable running hat, and wrist warmers.

Top Quality and many uses.
I got it to go with my 25 liter pack. Since then I have found all sorts of other uses for it. It's the handiest ( daily use ) item in my backpacking gear which is a lot. The construction is top notch just like all of their items. To quote an old advertisement ... " Try it , you will like it ".

Excellent fanny for every adventure
I use this thing for everything from bikepacking and rock climbing to road trips and day hikes. I usually stuff it with a 1L bottle, plus keys, wallet, snacks, and even a packable rain jacket. Very well made, lightweight, cool colors, and great versatility. Love it! Kind of hoping my deuter bites the dust soon so I can buy one of their packs to go with it.

Great Craftmanship!

WANT A DIFFERENT SIZE OR CUSTOM COLOR?
We offer Fanny Packs in 3 sizes and custom colors in the 1 Liter and 2.5 Liter sizes!

The 4 way stretch Lycra Mesh pocket on the inner panel is perfect for organizing your gear in your fanny pack! Keep your phone secure in the pocket or use it to keep the smaller loose items like chapstick, keys and headphones!
We use Water Resistant #5 Uretek Zipper from YKK for the closure of this fanny pack. This zipper is durable and keeps your gear safe from a light rain.
We recommend stowing your Fanny Pack in your backpack if you're hiking in persistent or heavy rain.
We use 3D Spacer Mesh for the back panel and inner strap wings to optimize comfort and breathability of the Fanny Pack.
We install two zipper toggles on the fanny pack to allow you to open the lid from either direction.
We make these Fanny Packs with durable and waterproof VX21 Xpac. This means that the fanny pack will be able to keep the gear inside dry in a light to moderate rain.
We do not seal our seams though, so submerging the fanny pack or hiking in a heavy rain is not recommended.
We include 1/2" elastic loops on the webbing straps to be used to keep the slack webbing from hanging down from the buckle.
Our buckles are both lightweight and durable to ensure a secure fit, light carry and long life to your Fanny Pack.
The buckles can be adjusted on either side by sliding the webbing through the tensioner, this lets you adjust where the buckle sits along the strap.
Our straps are around 55" and can be used as a fanny pack overtop cold weather gear or can be extended to use as a cross body bag as well!

which size fanny pack should i buy?
We offer 3 sizes of Fanny Pack here at CTUG, the 1 Liter, the 2.5 Liter and the 4 Liter. Most long distance hikers are happy with the 1 Liter or the 2.5 Liter, while a few prefer the 4 Liter.
The 1 Liter is great for just the essentials, the 2.5 Liter packs a bit more for those that don't want to stop to snack, and the 4 Liter lets you take just about everything but the kitchen sink.
