Lead time on Shoulder Strap Phone Pocket is 1-3 days.
Easily attach the Phone Pocket to any of your packs - our system is able to attach to just about every backpacking pack.
Common strap styles include those with daisy chain and those with a gear loop. More instructions on how to attach to these can be found below in photos and a video.
Tie a shoe or take a stretch without your phone tumbling into the dirt. The velcro closure keeps your phone in place.
We also have a secondary velcro strap that can secure you phone while leaving the charging and aux ports open. Fold the main flap into the pocket and pull out the secondary closure strap.
Built to Last
We believe gear should last for thousands of miles. We design our gear with materials that will stand the test of time.
The Phone Pocket is made from Xpac VX21, a durable material that won't wear out. We use nylon webbing along with durable Duraflex S clips to hold the Pocket on the pack.
Two Closure Systems
The secondary closure on our phone pocket is designed to let you secure your phone while keeping the charging and/or aux port accessible.
Simply fold in the main storm flap and pull out the strip of 3/4" webbing from the inner front panel. This webbing wraps over the phone and is secured with velcro on the back panel.
Lycra Mesh Pocket
The external lycra mesh pocket is perfect for any other items you want on hand - energy bars, sunglasses, or whatever else you need.
The Lycra 4 way stretch mesh is capable of expanding to fit many items while the 1/2" elastic rim at the top keeps the pocket tight to the Xpac.
Two Sizes Available
We offer two sizes of phone pocket. The Standard size fits most phones while the large fits all phones with room to spare.
If your phone measurements match or are smaller than those listed to the left/right, it will fit. If you have a case on your phone, you'll need to measure it yourself. If you don't have a case, you can look up your phone's dimensions online and compare.
The CTUG Shoulder Strap Pocket attaches to virtually any backpack’s shoulder strap. With our easy attachment system, you can be sure your shoulder strap accessory will sit securely on your pack. Depending on your backpack’s straps, our shoulder strap accessories can be attached in one of two ways:
Packs with daisy chain webbing running the length of pack’s straps will use both clips.
To attach to a strap’s daisy chain loops, open the S clips and attach to desired loops. Close clips to lock in place. Slide the extra webbing through the slider to create a tight fit.
Packs without daisy chain will use the webbing on the bottom of the strap that holds the ladder lock in place and the horizontal upper gear loop near the top of the strap.
To attach to a pack with a gear loop, open the bottom S clip and attach to the webbing loop at the bottom of the strap. Close the clip to lock it in place.
Unthread the upper webbing from the Pocket and set aside the clip. Now thread that webbing down through the upper gear loop on the pack, then back through slider on the Sleeve. Cinch tight for the perfect fit.
How to Open/Close S Clips
Opening and closing our clips can be challenging at first. The key is where you put the force of your fingers. Hold the clip firm in one hand and follow the force vectors in the diagrams.
See the video below for more details about attaching a Water Bottle Sleeve to your pack. Sleeve works best with tall/skinny bottle like the Smart Water bottle.
